AI in Politics: School President joins panel to discuss AI’s influence in election integrity at World Summit AI
We are beyond proud of our school president, Bernhard Gademann, for his appearance as a guest speaker at the World Summit AI in Amsterdam last week. As the world’s largest event dedicated to AI and emerging technologies, Bernhard participated in a thought-provoking panel moderated by Professor Dr. Claes de Vreese, discussing the critical role AI plays in global elections. AI advancements have improved how industries operate, delivering solutions to some of the world's most urgent challenges. However, the rapid pace of these changes has sparked discussions about ethics, privacy, and public trust, leading to a call for a careful balance between leveraging AI’s benefits and protecting essential human values. The panel discussed AI's role in shaping public opinion, its potential to influence election outcomes, and how we can work to harness AI to protect democracy. 🎤 Representing our school on a global platform and bringing valuable insight into AI’s role in shaping our future - we couldn’t be more proud 💡
