Ms Pavelcikova's amazing students, Samira and Kajetan, worked on a Classification project after finishing their final and external exams. This topic was a part of the AS Biology curriculum they studied this academic year. They have decided to display the biodiversity and the six kingdoms using a plaster hand. They have made agar plates and cultivated bacteria and fungi. They have collected a plant, an animal, and an algae, to represent the next three kingdoms and soil where the archaea live. With Mr. Malenica we made a hand using plaster; the students painted it and secured their samples using epoxy resin. It was a great team effort, and it was a pleasure to observe their dedication and all the patience they have put into this project.
